Our Product Overview:

We offer comprehensive cycling cover tailored to the diverse needs of cyclists. Our policies are customisable, allowing riders to select additional cover options for accessories, racing events, and extra wheelsets.

Some of our amazing partnerships include Strava, GCN, Hubtiger, and Project 529. We are also in partnership with most of the biggest bicycle chain stores in the UK offering 30 days free insurance to anyone buying a new bike. Your mission will be to call the customer during the 30 days of complimentary cover, talk some bike, and get them to sign up for an annual policy.

As a sales expert joining our UK team, you'll engage directly with these innovative insurance solutions, contributing to a service that empowers cyclists to ride with confidence, freedom, and peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call new 30 days free activations and guide them through the product features and sign-up process.
  • Engage with customers to understand their insurance needs and provide coverage options, ultimately driving policy sales.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to convey insurance information and benefits to an international market effectively.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience and build lasting impressions.
  • Continuously update knowledge of insurance industry trends, competitor offerings and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous work experience with a good track record (references required).
  • At least a school certificate, but ideally a 3-year degree graduate.
  • Passion for cycling and a strong desire to share that passion with others.
  • Proven sales or similar experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset to develop innovative sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services is advantageous.
  • Ambitious and eager to learn and grow within the company.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Own transport, ideally residing in Stellenbosch or the surrounding area.

Contract Options:

  • Seasonal fixed-term contracts are available for the busy summer period in the UK.
  • Permanent roles are offered for experienced candidates.

Working Hours:

  • UK Summer Period (April - September): 
    • 10:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday. 
  • UK Winter Period (October - March): 
    • 11:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday.

Remuneration & Perks:

  • Monthly base salary of up to R12,000, depending on experience.
  • Commission opportunities with the potential to earn up to R25,000 per month based on achievement of sales targets.
  • Generous annual leave entitlement of 21 days, plus an additional day of Birthday Leave.
